Working on this project for BMW Motorrad became one of the most memorable and valuable professional experiences for me. I was part of the Florida Reklame film crew as a Second Camera, under the direction of Julian C. Steiner (DP) and director Nikolas Meyberg.
One of the most unforgettable parts of this adventure for me was the journey itself. Together with the team of motorcyclists, I traveled thousands of kilometers, moving from Andorra through all of Spain, crossing the Mediterranean Sea by ship to Morocco, and then continuing through the sand dunes of Namibia and the vast landscapes of Botswana. I rode with them, filming their journey from the inside, straight from the road, which allowed me not only to capture the dynamic of the trip but also to feel the atmosphere of a real adventure.
Over the course of more than 20 days of filming, I worked in a variety of conditions — from challenging road situations to breathtaking natural landscapes. At times, I filmed entirely on my own, with certain scenes under my full control.
One of the most impressive locations for me was the Okavango Delta in Namibia. This place amazed me with its wild nature, and filming here was a unique experience. I filmed animals in their natural habitat — crocodiles, hippos, elephants, lions. Working in such conditions, where every movement is dictated by the unpredictability of nature, was a real challenge and provided me with invaluable skills in documentary filmmaking.
Especially valuable was the collaboration with Julian C. Steiner and director Nikolas Meyberg. Working with such a strong team gave me incredible professional growth, especially in the field of documentary storytelling.
This project became not just a job, but a true adventure that will stay with me forever. I’m proud to have been a part of this story and to have contributed to its creation.
